Dr. Bridgitte Shen Lee earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas in Austin and her Doctor of Optometry magna cum laude degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She is the co-founder of Vision Optique, a private optometric practice founded in 1999 which is regarded as one of the premier high-end opticals and advanced contact lens practices in Houston. Dr. Shen Lee is passionate about helping people see better and live better lives, and inspiring other eye care professionals. She enjoys sharing the latest technology in contact lens, ophthalmic lenses, and ocular aesthetics through lecturing, product launches, and Problem Based Learning presentations. Dr. Bridgitte Shen Lee serves as an adviser and a speaker on the topics of ocular health, contact lens, social media, the aging eye, and eye beauty products.

Dr. Shen Lee immigrated to Dallas, Texas from Beijing at age 15. Both of her parents graduated from China's most prestigious medical school, Peking Union Medical College (PUMC). Her upbringing in medical academia helped to shape her own career in helping others with their sight. In addition to practicing at Vision Optique, Dr. Shen Lee also founded iTravelCE in 2010.

Unique in destination education, iTravelCE is a bridge between the Asian and the American/European optical industries. It brings optometrists to Asia for their continuing medical education and to gain a better understanding of the optical industry in Asia. Through iTravelCE, Dr. Bridgitte Shen Lee is a consultant and a speaker for various optical industry companies to introduce eye care professionals in the U.S. and Asia to the latest innovations in ophthalmic lenses, contact lens, luxury eye wear, pharmaceutical treatment, and ocular aesthetics products.

Dr. Shen Lee enjoys raising her young daughters to be global citizens and volunteering her time and talent at schools and in the Houston community. She served on the Houston Miller Theatre Advisory Board, and she currently serves on the Houston Ballet Foundation Board of Trustees.

Dr. Jennifer Sheen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Houston. She went on to attend the University of Houston College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate. Dr. Sheen’s optometric externships were completed at Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Harris Health System’s Casa de Amigos Health Center in Houston, Texas. During this time, she received training in primary optometric care and management of various eye diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Sheen practices full scope optometry and is board certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She has a passion for myopia management and treating dry eye disease. In addition, she has experience in co-managing ocular procedures such as LASIK and cataract surgery.

During her free time, Dr. Sheen enjoys traveling, catching up on Netflix shows, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops.
